Fresh out of school, I assisted in building a straw-bale, 4-car garage with a architecture studio on the second floor.  

The walls are 22" thick  with stucco and plaster on the outside and inside, respectively.  The mud room  has a grass roof and recycled wine bottles for a south facing wall.
